Lollipop, Lolipop!

I got a last minute call on Wednesday for Friday delivery and was at the time in the thick of completing the bridal order, but I couldn't resist the challenge. The request was for a little girl's birthday party with the theme being "Candyland", 4" cookies with each of her classmate's name and 2" cookies for each party bag. So the question was, can you make cookies that look like lollipops......here is my version of it!

Bridal Shower

It was great that my client was willing to step out of the traditional favors and opted for something fun, the color scheme for the wedding is burgundy and silver. Decorated in Royal Icing.

These cupcakes are yellow cake with a Creme Bouquet flavored Buttercream Frosting and the flowers are handmade with fondant & gumpaste.

Farewell to Raymond!

Not a good photo of the cake which I made for Raymond but I wanted to post it just the same, this was my 1st attempt at a decorated sheet cake.

Happy Birthday Auntie Renee

These cookies were a birthday present for Auntie Renee who loves dainty little things, so these were inspired by her personality. I have always wanted to make these for a tea party but thought this would be a good opportunity to try out some new texture rolling pins and stick embossers, the sugar cookies were covered in fondant and then hand painted with food coloring, finished off with a spray of lustre. Kinda out did myself with this one, hope you enjoy them also!

Cake Topper and Cookies for 40th Birthday Bash

This was a fun project to work on with Juliette Allen who made the cake and requested a cake topper made of cookie to match the theme of the event.
